In 1995 Mr. Tibbitts founded and was president of Silicon Reality, a 3D graphics hardware company. In 1998 Silicon Reality was purchased by Evans & Sutherland where Mr. Tibbitts became VP of Business Development.

In 1990 Mr. Tibbitts founded and served as presisdent of PICCO a design consultancy.

Prior to PICCO, Mr. Tibbitts held various engineering and management positions at National Semiconductor, Fairchild, and IBM.
